Abstract: Human Resource Management Practices and their impacts on employee retention are given a vast cover on the literature review. The main objective of the study was to assess the influence of Human Resource Management Practices on Employee Retention in Radar Construction. Mixed research design (qualitative and quantitative) approach is adopted. For the quantitative approach descriptive type of research is engaged as the objective of the researcher is to evaluate the existing selected HRM practices and their contribution to employee retention. Census inquiry is employed since permanent employees of the head office are selected as a whole to represent the population under the study. Total sample size is 80 and data for the study was collected through structured self-administered questionnaires. For the qualitative approach semi structured questionnaire was used for selected three HRM officials and the result was discussed. The selected HRM practices which formed the independent variables are career development, training & development, performance appraisal, reward and compensation and, health and safety while employees’ retention stood as the dependent variable. This study concludes that, Radar Construction, as per the selected human resource management practices (Health and Safety, Performance Appraisal, Career Development, Reward and Compensation and Training and Development) has a good reputation on employee retention. It is also recommended for Radar Construction to review company policies and procedures implementation to ensure they are fair and can contribute to better successive employee retention.
