The study determines the factors that impact turnover intentions in the case of Ethiopian airlines specifically on Human Resource (HR) and Finance department employees and examined the relation of demographic variables, on turnover intentions. The sample consisted of 150 HR and finance employees at head quarter. The data were collected using convenient sampling via self-administered questionnaire and from a total of 150 survey questioners 120 usable responses were collected and retained for analysis using SPSS version 23.The results hypothesized that job satisfaction and company commitment factors are negatively and significantly related to turnover intention. The study also found that demographic variables, company commitment and job satisfaction had a significant contribution and negative effect on turnover intentions. Furthermore, the study revealed that company commitment accounted for larger variance in turnover intentions than from job satisfaction and job satisfaction had more effect on turnover intentions than from other variables. Findings of the study reveals that all of the study variables (except stress) were significantly negatively related to turnover intentions furthermore, the variables commitment, perceived alternative employment opportunity and job satisfaction were found to be the most strongly correlated variables with turnover intentions .en_US
