dc.description.abstractThis study aimed at assessing practices and challenges of strategic implementation at Ethiopian Agricultural Business Corporation. The study used both quantitative and qualitative research approach and the study has employed descriptive research. Primary data were collected by using 5-point Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to customers and unstructured interview conducted with managers selected through purposive sampling. A total of 144 questionnaires were filled and returned by the employees who were used by census methods of sampling. The analysis is made by making use of descriptive statistics. The empirical result shows that employees’ level of understanding the strategic implementation is inadequate and, the organizational structure does not facilitate the implementation. The strategy implementation has faced various challenges such as of leadership, poor communication integrations, lack of employees’ motivation and sense of ownership, and poor organizational structure. Based on these findings appropriate recommendations were provided.en_US
