dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to assess employee’s turnover intention at Satcon construction plc. In doing so the study uses both primary and secondary data sources and for the purpose of collecting data, it uses different instruments which are questionnaires for the current employees and standard interview for the human resource management staffs. Qualitative and quantitative approaches are used. Convenience sampling techniques were used to select the sample size from the population. In order to analyze the collected data descriptive statistics like percentage was used. The finding of the study reveals that, highly dissatisfaction of the employees with the benefit they received, dissatisfaction with the assistance that the employees receive from the management, lack of fair treatment by the management to all employees, dissatisfaction with the promotion given and benefit received, dissatisfaction with the motivational policy of the organization and lack of recognizing/rewarding hard working employees are the main reason of the high employee turnover intention. Similarly it was concluded that lack of career advancement, employees benefit package and bad employees manager relationship were the reason for turnover intention. Motivating the employees using different strategies, paying the employees in accordance to the risk they take and showing high concern by the HRM and management of the organization to the problem of turnover intention are some of the recommendations given in order to solve the problem.en_US
