Abstract: The main objective of this study was to explore the effects of reward on employees’ job satisfaction in Ethiotelecom. The objective of this study mainly crucial for the company to have satisfied, energetic, competent and committed staff for better chance of achieving the overall objectives and goals of the company. The study used both primary and secondary source of data. A quantitative research approach of the data collection used and 85 questionnaires were distributed and 73 completed usable questionnaires for response rate of 86.8% returned. Stratifying sampling method was used and employees were selected from each stratum with a simple random sampling technique. Data was analyzed using descriptive, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The correlation result has entailed that opportunity for promotion and work environment is found to have strong positive relationship (r=0.486 , r=o.714, p<0.01and) with employees job satisfaction, similarly moderate relationship obtained with benefit (r=0.331, p<0.01),and Training &development (r=0.487, p<0.01). Finally, the study suggest that as extrinsic and intrinsic rewards are a motivator factors in the enhancement of employees’ job satisfaction, the researcher recommended that the concerned bodies need to try their best to revise and adjust reasonable reward packages better than the present one in order to accommodate and satisfy its work force employees as well as to enhance and achieving of overall objectives of the company.
