Abstract: the purpose of this study was to identify the effect of Employees‟ Commitment on Employee Performance in Addis Ababa City Road Authority. Employee Commitment has been taken as independent variables and Employee Performance as the dependent variable. It adopted descriptive research methodologies and it has both qualitative and quantitative research approach. A five point Likert-Type scaled questionnaire was constructed and administered among in Addis Ababa City Road Authority. The results of the study indicate that the Employees‟ Commitment is significantly related to Employee Performance in Addis Ababa City Road Authority. The research findings reveal that there exists positive relationship between the Employee commitments and employee Performance. It has also been proved from the results that there exists strong correlation between the four independent variables and employee performance. These outcomes in turn are associated with guiding the top management for working towards increasing employees‟ commitment and the management should hire employees who are likely to become linked to the organization, this shall have a great effect and take the organization towards promising competitive edge.
