Abstract: This study examines the effect of reward practice on employee motivation with job satisfaction as mediating variable on the case of Nile Insurance S.C Head Office. For the given study, the researcher has used the two reward types namely intrinsic reward and extrinsic reward. The research was carried out using both primary and secondary data sources. A self-administered questionnaire was created to gather pertinent data from the chosen respondents. Census was used for the given paper. Accordingly, data were gathered from 132 employees working under Nile. Explanatory and descriptive survey designs were used in this research. The researcher used a descriptive research design to explain what it is or how the condition appears, as well as correlation analysis to demonstrate the relationship between the dependent, independent, and mediating variables. Based on the analysis made between the different variables, results have showed that there is a significant positive relationship between reward variables and employee satisfaction as well as employee motivation. Moreover, the descriptive results shows that employees incline toward intrinsic reward when compared to the extrinsic reward provided by the company. Multiple regression result has showed that reward have a significant effect on employee motivation. At the end, the study concluded that both the reward variables should be used in a proportional way to increase employee satisfaction as well as their motivation in their work place.
