Abstract: The aim of this study is to assess the role of organizational culture on employee performance in FBC. Using Denison model, the conceptual frame work was designed by treating organizational culture as independent variable, and employee performance as a dependent variable. To achieve the objective, the research questions were formulated. Organizational culture was further expressed using specific culture dimensions such as involvement, consistency, adaptability and mission. Descriptive research design with mixed research approach was applied. The data was obtained by questionnaire. The study took 101 target populations with response rate of 96 respondents. Both inferential and descriptive analyses were used to see the relationship and effect of independent variables on dependent variable. Based on the analysis, a positive relationship between the four variables of organizational culture (involvement, consistency, adaptability and mission’s culture) and employee performance was observed. According to the results of regression analysis, it can be concluded that 72.3% of variation in employee performance was accountable for organizational culture. Specifically, involvement and mission sub culture dimensions had a positive and a high significant effect on employees’ performance. Based on the findings, and research conclusions, major recommendations such as: organizational cultural audit and revision of work environment were suggested as possible considerations for FBC to focus on.
