dc.description.abstractThe study attempt to investigate the consequence of family breakdown on children’s educational, economic, social and psychological wellbeing. In addition the study tries to assess causes of family breakdown and its impact on parent- child relationship. Data collection primary relays on in depth interview with children under family breakdown and their parents/ guardians who are included under the project of I Care for the Nation. The sample size was determined based on purposive sampling in which their fathers left them away. Focus group discussions, observations and secondary data review from the agency were made to collect data and strengthen the findings of this paper. Finally, this paper concludes by trying to point out some recommendations.en_US
