Abstract: The main purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the seven factors identified in eight ‘S’ model on strategic implementation at AHRI. The study adopted mixed research approach and particularly explanatory research design was applied. For this purpose, a sample of 165 employees and team leaders was drawn through simple random sampling technique and 5 management bodies drawn through purposive sampling technique. Self-administer questionnaire and semi-structured Interview guide were used to gather data. The collected data were processed by using SPSS-Version 20. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used for the data analysis. The descriptive statistics such as frequency, percent, mean and standard deviation were used for describing the demographic characteristics of respondents and the whole perception of respondents forwards the study variables. The inferential statistics like Pearson correlation and multiple regressions were used to show the relationship between independent and dependent variables and to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The findings of the study indicated that, the seven factors of eight ‘S’ model considered in the study (the strategy, organizational structure, systems and processes, leadership, human resource/staff, resources, and organization culture) are all found to have a positive correlation with the strategic performance of AHRI. The results of Pearson correlation coefficients also indicated that, there is a positive, moderate to strong and significant relationship between all the seven factors and the strategic performance of the institution. As well, all the seven factors of eight ‘S’ model had positive effect on strategic performance at AHRI. Finally, the study recommended that, the management of AHRI should continue giving the required attention to all the seven factors of eight ‘S’ model studied here as they are found strongly related to the strategic performance of the institution.
