Abstract: | The timely completion of road construction projects is critical for economic development and
public convenience. However, these projects frequently experience significant delays due to a
variety of factors related to different stakeholders. This study investigates the impact of
contractor, client, consultant, and other stakeholder-related factors on Beshale Condominium
Asphalt road construction Project delay. Utilizing a mixed-methods research approach,
including both correlation and regression analyses, the study identifies strong positive
relationships between these factors and project delays, with contractor-related issues emerging
as the most critical. The results align with existing literature, emphasizing the importance of
effective project management, timely decision-making, and efficient regulatory processes. These
findings provide actionable insights for construction professionals and policymakers aimed at
mitigating delays and enhancing the efficiency of road construction projects. It also
recommended to improve the good communication between construction parties, realistic project
time stakeholder’s participation and improve right of way accusation system. |
