Abstract: This study investigates the impact of management control on the quality of 5G network deployment, using EthioTelecom as a case study. It seeks to understand how effective management practices influence the successful implementation of advanced telecommunications technologies, offering insights to guide strategic decisions within EthioTelecom and similar organizations worldwide. The research is based on EthioTelecom 5G deployment initiatives, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data to address the specific challenges of deploying cutting-edge technology in a developing country. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study includes a thorough literature review, detailed research design, and data collection through interviews, observations, document analysis, surveys, and performance metrics. Data analysis employs statistical methods and qualitative techniques to provide a comprehensive understanding of the impact of management control on project quality. The research spans the entire process from planning to implementation and evaluation, assessing effects on project quality, customer satisfaction, and overall network performance, and concludes with actionable recommendations for enhancing 5G deployment strategies. The project is set for completion by mid-November, ensuring meticulous review and finalization.
