Abstract: The primary objective of the study was to analyze The Effect of Rewarding on Employee Job Performance: The Case of Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. To this purpose the researcher has studied the effect of reward on employee performance in CBE., The researcher used an explanatory research design and a quantitative approach. A 212 sample of the population was taken as part of the study. A total of 212 questionnaires were handled by the respondents, and 206 of them were completed and returned their questionnaires. The study's findings were presented in inferential and descriptive analyses, and the result of the descriptive statistics revealed that the impact of reward on employee job performance was significant. This suggests that Supervision, benefit, Promotion, working conditions, payment, recognition, and Working Content have a positive effect on employee job performance. In addition, the result of the multiple linear regression output signals thatone unit increase in Supervision, Benefit, Promotion, Working Condition, payment, recognition, and Working Content lead to an enhancement of the employee performance by 66.6%. From this, the researcher suggested that CBE should emphasize a reward system to enhance its Employee performance.
